What is the difference between prepared and raw Ogawa rope?

Prepared Ogawa is supplied in finished 8-metre lengths, cleaned, rubbed, singed and lightly waxed. Raw Ogawa is supplied in long rolls so experienced practitioners can cut and finish it themselves.

Which lengths are available?

Prepared rope is 6 mm × 8 m and sold individually. Raw 6 mm Ogawa is offered in long lengths from 50 to 100 metres, subject to current stock and the options displayed on the product page.

Does Ogawa rope contain JBO?

Yes. Ogawa industrial Japanese jute contains Jute Batching Oil. Its characteristic scent gradually fades with airing, preparation and regular use; humidity can make it temporarily stronger.

Do you ship across Europe?

Yes. Orders are prepared in Paris and sent with the tracked delivery services available for your destination. Exact prices and delivery choices are shown at checkout.

Is the packaging discreet?

Yes. Parcels use neutral packaging without explicit Shibari or BDSM wording.

How quickly are orders dispatched?

In-stock products are normally prepared and dispatched within 48 hours, excluding weekends, public holidays and exceptional notices.
